Chaos teams are looking to add a few talented players to their 2024 roster. We will have open tryouts at Optimist Sports Complex on Monday, June 26th. If you can't make that date, or just have questions, please reach out to Rick Dunavin at 402-890-4859.
We are all about creating a space for girls to compete at the level that's right for them. Our teams compete primarily at either the B or C level (depending on team). If we don't have a spot for you, we encourage you to check out this Facebook group to see posts from teams looking for players in all age groups!
Quick facts:
- Teams are based out of Lincoln, which is where indoor and outdoor practices are held.
- We try to be considerate of the fact that all families have a finite budget of both time and money, so fees for the season are based on actual team expenses. We don't have paid coaches like many organizations. Most of our coaches are non-parent volunteers who do this for the love of the game.
- We play in 7-10 tournaments per season (March-July) with weekly league and 8-12 weeks of weekly winter indoor practice.
- Our schedules try to balance the desire to play competitive softball and the desire to have some family life balance.
- Our stay mostly local, with most tournaments and/or league being within 1-2 hours of Lincoln. We plan one out of state tournament each year, but the vast majority of tournaments are within driving distance of Lincoln.
